Greengas Swiss Arms Navy Pistol .40 R / Sig Sauer P229 Rail

The Swiss Arms Navy Pistol .40 R is a licensed airsoft replica of the Sig Sauer P229 Rail,
the version with the picatinny rail in .40 calibre. The pistol is full metal with both the working
slide and frame made of aluminium. It is powered by green gas which is stored in the 20
round magazine and its muzzle energy is just under 1 J. The pistol is very comfortable and
accurate despite its compact size ( 180 mm in length and 130 mm in height ). Its weight is
795 g including the magazine. As it is modeled on the Tokyo Marui design there are a variety
of upgrade parts available including reinforced springs, valves, buckings, steel hammer,
outer barrel, slide and more. The trigger is double and single action and the hammer can be
de-cocked by hand. The recoil is snappy and the sound is loud and clear. The slide release,
decocker and takedown pin are on the left hand side and true to the Real Steel version there
is no safety switch. The Hop-up bucking has an enlarged surface and follows the contour of
the barrel something normally only found in aftermarket parts.
