VX models have a lightweight lower frame made of modern polymer with stippling on the handle for a stronger grip. A small beaver tail in the upper back of the frame fixes the hand well and prevents "biting" from the slide when being shot. The Picatinny rail allows the installation of a flashlight or laser. The model uses WE architecture, which makes finding aftermarket upgrades for it much easier than for other models. The Hop-up bucking is the standard, type VSR-10, with a wide contact area with an arched shape.
